Matted Dog Policy

We practice humanity before vanity and in compliance with The Animal Welfare Act 2006 ( Animals need to be protected from pain and suffering) always put the welfare of the dogs in our care first.

Removing matts can be painful and distressing, which is why we won’t de-mat for longer than 15 minutes. If we find that this would be necessary, we’ll discuss clipping, which is not only more comfortable for your dog but will cause them less stress. Should this be necessary, you’ll be asked to sign our Clipping/Matting Policy and we’ll guide you through what to expect following their groom.
